It's a little awkward being back in a familiar place with a lot of the familiar people gone. I keep seeing students (freshmen probably) who look vaguely like '09ers. I stare for a couple more seconds (it's the nearsightedness), even though I've become used to being wrong. This hasn't happened to me before, except in the first week of freshman year when I went up to and hugged a senior whom I mistook for someone else. In that case, the mistake was mutual. The guy hugged me back, and then we both realized the other person was not who we had in mind. So now, I'm the senior and I'm waiting for that freshman.
